Mia Rappoport joined Black Sheep Restaurants with a diverse culinary and marketing background. The California native started working in restaurants at age 15 and immediately fell in love with the industry’s energy and passion. After earning her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of California at Santa Barbara and spending a year in Barcelona eating her way through Europe, Mia set out to combine her love of food and writing by working for Wagstaff Worldwide, a hospitality PR firm in San Francisco. Before moving to Hong Kong, Mia was living in New York City, where she attended the French Culinary Institute and spent several years working in the corporate office for Chef Daniel Boulud’s Dinex Group and as a publicist at Becca PR, a leading public relations firm that specializes in restaurants.
