La Vache!Go back
Since opening in 2013, La Vache! has amassed a loyal following of locals and expatriate customers, returning time and again for its signature steak frites. Centrally located in SoHo, this neighbourhood steakhouse boasts distinctive Parisian theming via way of both design and dining. Inspired by the spirit of the French brasseries of old, La Vache! offers a simple menu where diners enjoy a series of just ‘one choice’ dishes. An organic green salad, garnished with walnuts prepares the palate ahead of a USDA Prime ribeye, grilled to preference and perfection, served with special house sauce and unlimited amounts of golden frites. Rounding off the indulgence, guests are invited to choose from the notorious dessert cart – a sweet experience piled high with iconic boulangerie classics. The concise wine program aligns with the refined and guided nature of the LaVache! experience. Reds boasting various bodies exist to suit diner preferences, while a collection of cocktails are aptly suited as the perfect pre, or post dinner accompaniment. The subterranean space featuring classic black and white tiles, burgundy leather booths and brass finishes, heighten the La Vache! experience.
With over a decade of kitchen experience and a passion for multiple food cultures, Group Executive Chef Tony Ferreira joined Black Sheep Restaurants via La Vache! as a key member of the opening team. Originally from Hong Kong, but raised in Vancouver, Canada, Tony began his restaurant career in high school and earned a degree in culinary arts from Vancouver Community College. In 2007, Tony returned to Hong Kong and worked at many popular restaurants before signing in 2012 to assist Christopher Mark’s running of the company’s many kitchens. Since joining, Tony has played an integral role in shaping the success of La Vache!, Motorino, Burger Circus and Chom Chom.
