Buenos Aires Polo Club

Go back

Inspired by Argentina’s passion for the ‘sport of kings’ and dynamic grilling culture, Buenos Aires Polo Club references the elite members-only clubs of the early 1900s – the pinnacle of Argentinian affluence. Grilled in the ‘asado’ tradition under the direction of Chef Felipe Lopez, the menu highlights exceptional produce and shares a country’s culinary culture. Grass fed Black Angus cattle, raised on the rolling fertile pampas grasslands have been reared exclusively for Buenos Aires Polo Club – with their cuts forming a star attraction. Supported by traditional sides, and finalized on a sweet note with an inventive dessert, guests are guided through an honest and elegant experience. Featuring over 130 different pours, the wine cellar is stocked solely with Argentinian wine including an impressive collection of malbecs. Behind the bar, an impressive cocktail selection features classics with innovative twists.

The Chef

Head Chef Felipe Lopez brings his extensive knowledge of butchery, curing and advanced grilling techniques to Buenos Aires Polo Club. With a career that began at a young age in his uncle’s catering business, and later studying at the California School of Culinary Arts, Lopez has long followed his passions and honed his skills in esteemed kitchens across the world. In his new role as Head Chef of Buenos Aires Polo Club, Lopez seeks to reveal the finest elements of Argentinean cuisine to Hong Kong guests using simple, traditional methods.
